On the left - Danton Eeprom, on the right - Alexandre Cazac on behalf of the InFiné team. What does it mean? Danton Eeprom just delivered his long awaited first studio album. Yes but that means even more…
What can you expect from a guy who loves literature, David Bowie and Jeff Mills? A guy who is on top of the league with his productions for the club scene but wears on stage a “top-hat” and electrifies his livesets with guitars? A guy who was born in France, lives in London and has been touring the world since 2005?
With his EPs for InFiné, Rekids, Freak & Chic, Tsuba or Fondation, Danton Eeprom has established quite a reputation for himself on the club scene. His trademark, a blend of epic rave, deep waves and dark electro sounds, powerfull enough to gain international recognition from DJs all over the globe: Michael Mayer, Carl Craig, Andrew Weatherall, Radioslave, Damian Lazarus, Laurent Garnier, Dubfire, Ewan Pearson, Steve Lawler, Steve Bug or Dj Sasha to name just a few. Is this the Grindhouse effect?
One thing leading to another, Danton’s work cracked into the indie networks with the solid support of Simian Mobile Disco. Remixing “Wooden” taken from their last album but also Au Revoir Simone, Lykke Li, Little Boots, Howling Bells or !!!, Danton already showcased with those exercises a good control of pop and rock tenets.
"Yes is more" is due for winter 2009 - 2010 on InFiné. Twelve brandnew tracks of dark-wave and electrified pop. Dantesque, that’s all we can say!!!
