2011 was a crazy and mean year for Static Discos. We did not release any physical media, but we were able to fill our website with content, including Free EPs from Macario (Cubenx's baby brother), Federico Crespo, Antiguo Autómata Mexicano, Microesfera and Machino. We also developed our first web app, the Couldplayer. 2012 will be our tenth year anniversary and we already have many surprises lined up. Through all the pain, 2011 had some wonderful music throughout, here are ten electronic music albums that made this year tolerable.

FAX (Static Discos)

2011 was a busy and intense year in every aspect of my life. I've been able to make my ninth studio album for my upcoming 10th anniversary producing music as Fax. I'm very grateful to keep my friends and family supporting me and I'm starting to like my grey hair. Awful year for the independent labels in Mexico but also great in new music coming from an array of talented musicians and producers all over Mexico. So much inspiring music has filled my hard drive this 2011, here's only a few of my favorites of this year that ends -in no particular order-:
Sepalcure - Sepalcure
Andy Stott - Passed Me By
John Maus - We Must Become The Pitiless Censors Of Ourselves
