infiné pre-masters 2012
2011 is already in the rear-view mirror. This first year of the new decade represents a turning point for InFiné. First and foremost, the label has demonstrated a new level of maturity rewarded by the release of Agoria´s « Impermanence », and the trust he put in us to keep the story of the label going in the years to come.
2011 was also a year of strong musical convictions and radical open-mindedness with the experimental flamenco of Pedro Soler & Gaspar Claus and the widescreen soundtrack of Murcof. The artists of the first generation of the likes of Cubenx, Rone or Arandel have kept on voicing their own differences, but their complicity is showcased on every event organized by the label. Composer`s debut LP certainly represents the most tangible form of this growing « Family Spirit ».
InFiné surely does not forget the clubs, but its projects are also more and more performed on stages, in France with regular events (InFiné 48h, InFiné Week, Summer Workshops) and abroad (Sonar, C3, Mutek Mexico…).
To celebrate the end of this year, we compiled a big fistful of tracks, some kind of musical scope of what you are alleged to expect in 2012. 7 pre-masters for free and for you - not allways definitive but completely exclusive. Some tracks extracted from albums planned for early next year (Kid A, Spitzer), some delightful demos which foreshadows undefined further collaborations (Downliners Sekt, Anna Meredith,The Same), one from the heart (BluFish) and the latest minimal-House take of Clara Moto.

48h infiné - jour 2
Après cette première soirée, il va sans doute falloir reprendre des forces avant de repartir de plus belle pour la Casa Nostra avec Agoria et Seth Troxler dimanche soir au Rex.
Donc dimanche après midi pause! On vous invite dès 12h00 à venir tranquillement vous reposer à la Cartonnerie. Prendre un brunch (détails à la fin de l'article) concocté par la maison Francart et venir écouter Kid A et Bachar Mar-Khalifé.
Kid A est une jeune chanteuse américaine qui ensorcelle par ses accents scandinaves aussi bien que ses références aux grandes voix du continent américain comme Nina Simone. Nous l'avons découverte sur l'album d'Agoria ou encore aux coté de Daedelus, Dan Le Sac ou les Spitzer. Elle viendra se produire pour la toute première fois en live accompagné pour l'occasion par Bachar Mar-Khalifé au piano et aux percussions. Un concert unique donc en forme de prélude à son album à paraître chez InFiné en 2012.

Bachar Mar-Khalifé poursuivra en solo pour jouer des extraits de son album OIl Slick en live. La musique inclassable, intimiste et très personnelle du jeune musicien franco-libanais pianiste et percussionniste fut présentée au printemps dernier à la Gaité Lyrique sur scène. Depuis, Bachar a enchaîné les apparitions scéniques en solo, avec son frère Rami, ou avec Murcof. Dimanche, il promet des surprises inédites!
On vous laisse le début de soirée pour reprendre votre souffle. A partir de minuit retour au Rex pour assister à la rencontre au sommet d'Agoria et Seth Troxler. Ils se croisent depuis longtemps, rêvaient de partager une Casa Nostra. Planning de rois oblige il aura fallu presque 2 ans avant que la rencontre puisse se confirmer. On déjà pu entendre les affinités des 2 amis sur le titre Souless Dreamer extrait de l'album Impermanence. Une cloture qui s'annonce historique!
